Decide if you are in favour, against or have mixed opinions.

You are going to read two compositions about one of these topics.
Which of the tips below do you think can help you to write a good composition,
explaining the advantages and disadvantages of an idea?

  1. Use a large variety of words.
  2. Repeat important words many times for emphasis.
  3. Put your ideas into one big paragraph.
  4. Separate your ideas into three or four paragraphs.
  5. Make a new paragraph for each new sentence.
  6. Use words like "but" and "although" to make longer sentences.
  7. Use only simple short sentences.
  8. Write an introduction at the beginning.
  9. Say your own opinion clearly at the beginning.
  10. Leave out your opinion. Let the reader decide.
