The following date and time should be the latest that any changes to the site will have been made.
12:00 Midday on Tuesday December 20th 2005
Which means that the time until the next update currently stands at:
If this date is actually a long time in the past, it probably means
that having received little or no feedback, I've moved on to another project. Anyway, on the day when I last
added new stuff, it seemed quite likely that I would be making changes sometime before the date given.
•It's Up To You.
Right now, there are about another 150 student worksheets on my disks that I could adapt to a
web-friendly format and place on this web site. Without
feedback, I don't know if any of them
would be appreciated or used.
They are fairly similar in style and diversity to the collection already posted so if you have used any of
this existing stuff and you want more, I need to hear from you, preferably before the date mentioned above.
•What You Can Do
Basically there are three ways you can help me; by
sending feedback, making
requests and
contributing your own material.
Useful feedback might include the names of worksheets you've enjoyed using.
You could also mention those that you tried and didn't like, those that you would use if they were changed a bit
and those that you wouldn't touch with a very long stick (and why). Other things I would like to know are related
to the site itself: Do the links all work? Does your computer / browser have a problem with a certain page and any
other comments you might have.
Obviously some requests will be difficult or impossible but within reason, I will do my
best to give you what you ask for in the way of new material or further material of a certain type or on a
particular topic. Also, if you think that Tefl-magic really could do with an additional page of a certain
kind, tell me and I might be able to oblige.
If you have a few of your own materials that you would like to share, I would be happy to "do the donkey work" of
translating them into a web-friendly format. You can either attach
word-processed documents to an e-mail bound for one of my
email addresses or
post paper copies to my
land address
and provided that it is technically feasible, I will post them on the site within
a month (or so). If you do decide to send word-processed data, please bear in mind that I am
using a "Windows-based" system and would require them either to be in a version of "Word" (95 / 97 / 2000 / XP),
or in the more universal "Rich Text Format" (.rtf).
