Dangerous Things - vocabulary and 1st conditional exercise
A Life Of Danger
Read through these questions. Make sure you understand the bold words
- Have you ever been close to a dangerous wild animal?
- Have you ever had a bad electric shock?
- Have you ever eaten something poisonous?
- Have you ever used a dangerous piece of machinery?
- Have you ever driven faster than the speed limit?
- Have you ever been involved in an accident?
- Have you ever broken the law?
- Who is the biggest risk taker that you know?
- What's the most risky thing you have ever done?
Now ask other class members some of these questions.
Remember to ask more questions using
"why, where, when, how much, how many, who, which.....etc."
Warning! If you touch this you will die!
Can you match the things on the left with the warnings on the right?

If you consume a lot you'll feel sick tomorrow. |

If you are careless you will fall. |

If you dring it you will die. |
| 9. | A dog |
If you go there in bad weather you will drown. |
| 10. | A television |
If you don't have lights a car will hit you. |
Now use the same pattern to write new warnings about different things.
Now read some of your warnings.
